AlluringCoffeeAlluringCoffee ("we") makes games, including Synapse Grid. This policy covers this website and the game. It is short because we collect very little.
This website
- We use no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising, and we set no cookies.
- Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. These are deleted on a rolling basis and are never sold or shared.
- Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them. See Google’s privacy policy.
The game
- Synapse Grid stores your progress, settings and unlocks locally on your own machine.
- Purchases, ownership, achievements and friends are handled by Steam. We never see or store your payment details. See Valve’s privacy policy.
- Online multiplayer connects you to other players directly or through a relay server. That connection necessarily exposes your IP address to the relay and, in direct mode, to the players you are connected to — the same as any online game. We do not log or retain match content.
- Maps you share are encoded as text codes you pass around yourself. Nothing is uploaded to us.
- There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no third-party SDKs collecting data in the game.
If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply to you. Nothing more.
Children
Our games and this site are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
If you are in a jurisdiction with data-protection rights (such as the GDPR or PIPEDA), you can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Write to press@alluring.coffee.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
